The Golden Jubilee of the Centenary Queen (1972 - Carol Skuze)

On this episode of Beyond the Crown, it's big hair, it's groovy gowns and so much excitement...for the 100 year celebration of Stanthorpe in 1972, with the Apple and Grape Harvest Festival.

I went south of the border past Tenterfield, to meet Caroline Robinson, who was crowned the Centenary Queen as Carol Skuze.

We talked about her career in nursing and midwifery around the world, and her beautiful gardens that she's designed and grown across the Granite Belt and New England regions.
